Who we are
Dokuverse is made and published by A14A B.V. (“we”, “us”), Noordeinde 101, 1121AJ Landsmeer, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 87105004. You can reach us at support@dokuverse.com.
Using the game
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download Dokuverse from the App Store or Google Play and play it on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. The terms of the store you downloaded it from also apply. You don't need an account; the app uses an anonymous ID (see the privacy policy).
Packs
- A pack is 5 cases you can buy in the app with a one-time purchase. The Launch Collection is one purchase that includes the 6 launch packs; packs released later are sold separately.
- You buy packs through Apple or Google, under their payment terms.
- A pack you buy stays unlocked for as long as the game is available. It is a one-time payment that doesn't renew.
- Packs are licensed to you for your own use. They can't be exchanged for money, sold or transferred to someone else.
- Your packs come back with the Apple or Google account you bought them with: tap Settings → Restore purchases on a new phone. If they don't, contact us with your support code.
Refunds
Apple and Google process all payments, so their refund policies apply. See the refund steps. If a purchase went through but didn't arrive in the app, contact us and we'll put it right.
Free content
The tutorial, the free cases and every Monday case are free, and a Monday case stays free after its week. Hints are free, with no cap. We may add, change or retire other free content over time, but we won't take away a pack you have bought while the game is available.
Intellectual property
The game, its cases, characters, art, text and code belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond playing the game. Press and reviewers may use the materials in our press kit to cover Dokuverse.
Acceptable use
Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the game or its cases, tamper with purchases or the server, reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, or use it in a way that harms other players or us. We may stop providing the game to anyone who does.
Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to make every case fair and the game reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. To the extent Dutch law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content supplied straight away, that right ends once supply starts, if you agreed to that when buying. Packs, including the Launch Collection, are digital content that we deliver immediately after you buy them through the App Store or Google Play. By confirming the purchase you ask us to deliver the pack straight away and acknowledge that you then lose your right of withdrawal. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
