Clues
How a Dokuverse case works
Every case is a small square map split into rooms. Place each person on the map so that no two share a row or a column, and every clue is true. The clues are exact: “beside” means sharing an edge, “in the same room” means the same coloured area. When everyone is placed, the solution tells you who did it: the one person alone with the victim, the cat by the broken vase, the slug beside the nibbled plant. It works like a sudoku with a story, so you can think of it as a murder mystery logic puzzle you solve by deduction, with no guessing needed.

Tap Hint as often as you like. It points out a mistake first, then the clue to look at, then explains the step in plain words. Check tells you how many people are in the wrong square without saying which.
